Project partner from Jena withdraws

At the end of August, our project partner from the University Jena regrettably withdrew from the FutuRSI project. The reason for this was an internal reorganisation at the university, in which the former “zedif – Competence Center Digital Research at University Jena” was incorporated into a new data centre department.

This new structure also brought with it new areas of responsibility and tasks for the former zedif staff. Furthermore, the FutuRSI project no longer fitted within the institution’s portfolio, and so all parties involved decided that the University Jena’s withdrawal from the project would be in the project’s best interests.

We are grateful for the excellent collaboration, the numerous valuable contributions, the stimulating discussions and the consistently outstanding expertise of our former colleagues from Jena. We wish them all the best for the future and hope, despite the current situation, that we will be able to collaborate again in the future.
