FutuRSI impulse paper published

The FutuRSI project is developing a strategy and concrete plan for implementing a research software institution in Germany. The impulse paper published today, ‘FutuRSI: the Conception of a German Research Software Institution’ (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17047067), provides an overview of the current state of the German research software ecosystem.

It is intended to provide the impetus for the comprehensive development of a strategy for this ecosystem and thus serve as a building block for embedding it in the existing regional and international framework. At the same time, it aims to facilitate the cultural change in the handling of research software.
