Mission Statement

Our mission is to transform the way research software is developed, used and valued in Germany. We stand for open, collaborative and sustainable practices in research software development. We support research software engineers and researchers of all disciplines in Germany who develop and use research software in networking and community building as well as in the provision and development of skills. Moreover, we act as advocates with scientific institutions and science policy.
